Sending out a newsletter

On the website you can subscribe to the email newsletter.
For this, Brainport Smart District collects the following personal data:

You can unsubscribe from this newsletter at all times using the direct link.

For us to send the newsletter, we need the abovementioned personal data.

Collecting data from people who are interested in living in BSD.

When you register your interest in living in BSD, you will be asked for other information in addition to your first name, surname and email address. This data is used to send relevant information to these addresses by email or in newsletters.

Collecting data for the Business Challenge

When you register for the Business Challenge, you are asked to provide details of an organisation or company which are needed to register a project with BSD. These details are used to assess the project. The companies and organisations are informed by email and newsletters.

Duration of the processing

The personal data is stored by BSD and processed for a period that is necessary in view of the purposes of the processing of this data.

Your rights

The General Data Protection Regulation states that individuals have to be able to inspect their collected data. In addition, it must be possible for them to correct, supplement, delete or block the data.

If the data is factually incorrect, this is a legitimate reason. BSD must also allow changing of data if the data is insufficient or incomplete for the purpose, is not strictly necessary for the purpose or is in violation of statutory regulations.

Requests to change the personal data may be submitted to Automotive Center of Expertise by email: info@brainportsmartdistrict.nl. Brainport Smart District will implement the change in its database within the maximum four-week term.

The secretariat, the communication adviser and in some cases the managers of the Brainport Smart District team are the receivers of the collected personal data. The communication adviser is responsible for sending Brainport Smart District newsletters.

Brainport Smart District has secured the personal data by working with secure sites (https) that require both a login name and a password.

In no case can Brainport Smart District be held liable for any direct or indirect loss resulting from incorrect or illegitimate use of personal data by a third party.
