Brainport Smart District will be a smart residential and working area where the urban environment has been designed in conjunction with new technologies for transport, health, energy generation and storage and circular construction. The residents also play an important role in the development of their own living environment. This new part of Brandevoort is being built north of the Helmond-Eindhoven railway line.
