Brainport Smart District meeting well attended

On 28 February Brainport Smart District presented how it will start developing the world’s smartest district in Brandevoort. Ben van Berkel of UNStudio presented the urban vision. One of the projects to start is the ‘model home’ developed by team CASA of the TU/e, with three residential units, that will be built in a single day in 2019. The companies Omines, Hendriks Coppelmans, UNSense, Ecarcell and Livin Concepts will start up projects. Omines who will build a data platform. ‘Forty plots project’. A second project is the ‘plots plan’: 40 plots have been offered for sale to interested private individuals who want to take part in a co-creative and experimental building process.
